Attended this show with Ramona – won 2 x 1st’s and BOB – many thanks to breed specialist judge: Louise Clarke (Harbethol). Unfortunately couldn’t stay for the group.

Judges for this show were: Mrs Penny Lester – Quettadene (Dogs) & Mrs Ann O’Keefe (Glenayden)

Timmy (Manchela Tiger Tim JW) wins 1st in Junior and Zorro (Manchela Paco Rabanne) wins 2nd and 4th in his puppy classes.

The star of the show was Ramona (Manchela Ramona) winning 1st in all her three classes, thus gaining the required remaining points for her Junior Warrant, but……………..also wins the Res cc. Thank you to the judge from Australia for thinking so highly of this precious girl.

Fantastic day for the Manchela show team: Zorro wins 1st in Puppy and Best Puppy Dog! Ramona wins 2 x 2nd’s in her classes. OMG Timmy wins 1st in a very strong Junior class and wins his 3rd and crowning CC to make him a SHOW CHAMPION (subject to kc approval) at the tender age of 14 months – that’s what dream of made of……….

Mrs Joy Perkins (Covana) judged the cocker spaniels at this show – not a great entry and a lot of absenties. Zorro won 1st in his class (only him in it) but went on to win BPIB, Best Dog and Res BOB ably handled by Mark. Ramona had to be content with a 1st and a 2nd today.

I had a lovely day judging the Inter Club Match at Calverleigh village hall – the four clubs taking part were Ilfracombe, Newton Abbot, Exeter & Taunton. Some real quality dogs and exciting puppies made my task a difficult one in some cases. I extend my sincere thanks to the host club Ilfracombe for a well organised event and to all the exhibitors for bringing their lovely dogs to compete and for making the event a great success with a fantastic atmosphere.
