West of England Cocker Spaniel Club – Open Show
Love attending this friendly show in a lovely venue. Only took the girls today: Pheobe won 1st & 2nd in good company, Ramona won 1st, RBIS & BOS – we are delighted
To keep it in the family, her daughter Erin (Manchela Where the Heart is) won 1st in an exceptionally good quality Minor Puppy bitch class and was declared BPIS & BMPIS at the tender age of 6 1/2 months! Our sincere thanks to the judge: Mrs Pat Salt (Islanza)
Manchester Championship Show
Attended this show at Stafford supported with a great entry for judge: Mr Lee Cox (Vanatonia) with no cc’s today. Our new kid on the block Erin (Manchela Where the Heart is, really enjoyed strutting her stuff at her first show and won a lovely 2nd out of 11 of quality puppies. Ramona won 1st in Limit and Phoebe won 1st in Graduate and Res BB handled by Mark. A great day at the office
London Cocker Spaniel Society – Championship Show
Attended this lovely show with great festive atmosphere with three of our show team along with the two babies for socialization. They took everything in their stride and enjoyed their day albeit a very long day. Judges for today were: Dogs – Mrs P Blay (Stablaheim) & Bitches – Mrs T Beswick (Cachel)
Very pleased with the results: Zorro won 1st in his Graduate class and Phoebe won 1st, 2nd & 3rd in her classes despite needing a new dress! Our star of the day was Ramona who won 1st in a very strong Limit class!
Torquay & District Canine Society Open Show
Just a short trip today to Matford Centre at Exeter to attend this show, low entries in all breeds apparently due to other shows on this weekend. Phoebe seems to be retaining just enough coat and won 1st’s in her Junior and Post Graduate classes and then declared Best of Breed under judge Bridget Bodle. Nothing in the group today which meant we could be home in good time!
Midland Counties Championship Show
Up to motorway to the show ground at Stafford with the team under Ann Ingram. She didn’t like Zorro much so awarded him a 3rd in his Yearling class. Phoebe won 1st in a very strong Junior class and Ramona won 1st in Graduate and the Res cc.
