London Cocker Spaniel Society – Championship Show
Attended this lovely show with great festive atmosphere with three of our show team along with the two babies for socialization. They took everything in their stride and enjoyed their day albeit a very long day. Judges for today were: Dogs – Mrs P Blay (Stablaheim) & Bitches – Mrs T Beswick (Cachel)
Very pleased with the results: Zorro won 1st in his Graduate class and Phoebe won 1st, 2nd & 3rd in her classes despite needing a new dress! Our star of the day was Ramona who won 1st in a very strong Limit class!
Torquay & District Canine Society Open Show
Just a short trip today to Matford Centre at Exeter to attend this show, low entries in all breeds apparently due to other shows on this weekend. Phoebe seems to be retaining just enough coat and won 1st’s in her Junior and Post Graduate classes and then declared Best of Breed under judge Bridget Bodle. Nothing in the group today which meant we could be home in good time!
Midland Counties Championship Show
Up to motorway to the show ground at Stafford with the team under Ann Ingram. She didn’t like Zorro much so awarded him a 3rd in his Yearling class. Phoebe won 1st in a very strong Junior class and Ramona won 1st in Graduate and the Res cc.
North Wales Cocker Spaniel Club – Championship Show
Lovely day with good atmosphere at this well run show. A long trip but worth the while. Ramona won 2nd in a strong Graduate class. Phoebe won 1 x 1st & 1 x 3rd in her Novice and Junior classes, whilst Zorro won 1st in his Yearling class and shortlisted in the last six for the CC. Many thanks to our judges: Mr Reg Bunting – Mossdew (Dogs) and Mrs Sam Whiting – Annilan (Bitches). Congratulations to the winners!
West of England Cocker Spaniel Club – Open Show
Off to Cricklade hall to show under breed specialist Mr Paul Davies (Annaside). Zorro won 2nd in a strong Open Dog class and Phoebe delighted us be winning 4 x 1st’s, Reserve Best in Show & Best Opp Sex in Show at just 13 months
