Craig finished his puppy career in style winning the puppy class, BPIB, BOB under judge Ms Beverley Dummett and Puppy Group 2!

Attended our parent club championship show under specialist judges: Andrew Jones (Shenmore) – bitches & Sally Leeding (Floroyal) – dogs. Had a great day catching up with friends, both home and abroad, also looking at some lovely quality dogs, not fogetting showing my own dogs who done me proud!

Manchela Real Deal (Craig) clocked up 2 x 2nd’s in lovely puppy classes, beaten by two lovely dogs puppies that go back to my two litter brothers (Sh Ch Manchela Blue Lagoon & Manchela Blue Bye You) – interesting future stud dogs I am thinking!

Dykere Lavender Blue for Manchela (Ellie) won a fantastic Open AOC class and was shortlisted for the CC!

Carol Harris was the judge for today and she awarded Craig 3rd in Puppy Dog and Ellie 1st in Post Graduate. Excellent show in an excellent venue

Received this very sad news on 20th May but had taken me all this time to post it – every time I read it, it brings tears to my eyes……………. Becky was the last remaining sibling of Larry (Sh Ch Manchela Blue Lagoon JW) who turned 14 in February 

“Hi Mike

 

Just wanted to let you know the sad news that we had to let Becky (Manchela Candlelight) go on Sunday.

 

Her dementia had got to the point where she was quite stressed, she had recently suffered pancreatitis and was struggling too with her gums/teeth.  

 

All the boys got chance to come and say goodbye and at the end Matthew took her & Jamie (our youngest) held her. It is a comfort that her cuddle will be the last thing she remembers.

 

She was a beautiful dog & a wonderful friend and we will all miss her.

 

I have a attached our favourite photo of her & a poem I wrote especially for her.

You came to us and brought such joy, you watched our family grow

Be brave our little Angel our loss is Heavens gain

Sleep now Bex and through our tears we’ll take away your pain

We’ll live our lives and smile again although we are apart

At last she sleeps, an Angel came and carried her safe & sound

Take our love and keep it safe, in heaven where you’re bound

God blessed us with you, precious gift, but only as a loan

At peace our little Angel you’re finally going home.
